Nineteen years ago when we started this group, we had dreams in our heart and vision in our mind. Project Finance/ Loan Syndication Consultancy was the first venture in January 1991. In past 19 years we have helped numerous clients from various industries such as manufacturers, exporters, traders, hoteliers, infrastructure, builders etc in organizing funds from Bank and Financial Institutions. We have helped our clients to raise debts from various tops Public/ Private Sector Banks. We also organize funds from some of prestigious Co-operative and Foreign Banks. In the first quarter of 1993, we decided to diversify into Direct Sales of Financial Products. This was the time when Direct Sales of Financial Products had just taken birth in India. We were one of the first few in India to start this kind of business. We were then known as Metro Financial Services. The Company signed up with Citibank N.A. as their Direct Sales Associates. In the year 1996 we converted the Company into closely held limited company and Money Managers (India) Ltd. was born. Today, our group companies enjoy the reputation of one of the leading Financial Consultants and Financial Distribution House in India. Worldwide Banking and Insurance are the two major sectors of the Financial World. In India, till 2001 private sector was not allowed in Insurance Industry. Year 2001 saw the landmark decision by the Government and Insurance Industry was opened for private sector. Our Group Company, Investment Managers, tied-up with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. as their Corporate Agents. Today, we can proudly say that the Money Managers Family has grown from two to more than two hundred professional employees.
