* Ensuring accurate computation of the Bank’s Basel II capad ratios as per the Standardised Approach.
* Ensuring ongoing compliance of the Standardised approach computations with new regulations, through system changes or introducing new processes etc.
* Guide the movement to the advanced Internal Ratings Based approach for the Bank by ensuring the Bank is has addressed all the minimum requirements and the computations are accurate and as per norms.
* Introducing processes to improve risk management capabilities of the Bank in line with requirements for the advanced approach
* Monitoring progress on the ICAAP computations, formulation, and further improvements for the Bank.
* Ensuring compliance with Pillar 3 guidelines.
* Interfacing with the RBI on various Basel II related regulatory requirements.
* Promote familiarity with the concept and usage of Basel II within the bank.
* The job will requires the person to build the above through interactions with various businesses and other support functions, Fincon etc. It will also require the person to do thorough and on-going research into best practices being followed across the banking industry.
