Full Description:

As an integral member of the LSI Networking Test and Verification team, the Verification Engineer will drive specification and verification of module and full chip test architectures for networking applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in architecting test processes, tools, and methodologies for use as well as bring new products to market by leading test and verification activity on fast paced multi-disciplinary product development teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong background in ASIC verification with experience in networking product architectures.

Experience in developing verification plans, test benches and running simulations at RTL and gate level.

Experience in structured verification: test matrices, test-case regression reporting and coverage metric reporting.

Knowledge of Systemverilog, vera, e and/or VHDL.

Proficient in commercial EDA tools (Synopsys VCS, Verdi).

Experience with one or more scripting languages: Perl, csh, bash, python, Tcl, awk.

Experience with one or more programming languages: C++, C.

Excellent technical troubleshooting and demonstrated problem solving skills.

Superior written and verbal communication skills, project management, and time management skills

Willingness to work in highly visible and dynamic environment. Familiarity with design concepts and architectures for complex networking ASIC components.
