Full Description:

As a Demo Developer you will analyze, design, develop, debug, and modify content for new, existing and field created demos; create demo data and populate back-end data structures for use within demos; and/or create analytical models to identify historical and predictive trends. Work in a high paced environment where projects are measured in hours and days verses weeks and months; and success is measured in the story told and the look and feel (\"Wow\" Factor) of the demo

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure the necessary software, both SAS and 3rd party, to demonstrate our support of the \"customer\'s\" business objective.

• Providing expertise in one or more technical areas related to demo creation and modification.

• Translate storyboards, UI design and requirements into data, code, asset designs, analytic models and process flows.

• Follow standards (design, usability, data, coding, -internationalization, etc.) and work collaboratively to ensure consistency across components, system and demos.

• Anticipate reuse of data, code, assets and models in the design process.

• Test components and overall system function to ensure proper integration. Also, validate storyboard flows to ensure \"customer\'s\" business objective is addressed in a positive fashion.

• Demonstrate components, designs and demos to design team. Take feedback and translate into code changes.

• Assist with internal documentation.

• Effectively manage time to deadlines, openly communicate progress, and contribute to team success.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance tight deadlines, ability to work in a fast paced environment (individual projects will last no longer than six weeks.)

• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of data creation best practices, programming principles, analytic design, and/or user-interface issues.

• Effective communication, both oral and written

• Self-driven and self-starter.

• Superior problem-solving skills as an individual and team.

• Ability to keep current on state-of-the-art techniques, standards, and procedures for software development.

• Understanding of the agile method of software development.

• Ability to work independently and with a team

Essential Skills:

• SAS Programming, Analytics. Ability to use appropriate SAS tools such as SAS Enterpise Miner, SAS Text Miner, SAS Forecast Studio, etc. for creation of sample SAS jobs
