• Overall 15-18 years of Industry experience with 10 years of Oracle Financials implementation and consulting experience
• Should be well versed in US GAAP and international accounting methodologies
• Preferably be well experienced in IFRS accounting, must make understand the client for implications of General accepted accounting principles.
• Consult business in defining the new Chart of Accounts, accounting rules, account hierarchy structures
• Responsible for defining the client’s organizational structure and financial reporting processes within the Oracle Financials Suite, Advise clients on financial and accounting processes, policies and business rules.
• Bring General Ledger and other Finance best practices to project
• Assist customer in reduction of customizations leveraging R12 functionality
• Thorough understanding on Oracle Release 12 and EBS 11.5.10.2 in Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA)
• Lead Finance functional team
• Conduct workshops with business and IT community to explain and demo Oracle product functionality and advise how to leverage them.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date expertise in Oracle Applications - Financials subject area in order to participate in evaluating curriculum and program material for consistency with defined learning objectives
• Formulate best practice processes and procedures
• Assist in design of prototypes with technical & functional consultants.
• Advise regarding complex, subject matter-based issues that impact system configuration
• Assist with documentation and training
• Lead client practice team and members through the CRP process
• Ability and willingness to transfer knowledge within both practice and client teams
