Head / Senior Manager – Construction Planning

Role Definition –

1. Job title: Head / Senior Manager - Construction Planning

2. Department: Planning

3. Location: Pune

4. Overall purpose: ( Objective of the Job & Brief description )

For meeting ABP targets in the short term, to build a strong planning team for Company to deliver accurate results.

5. Key Result Areas – Functional: ( Hard Goals of the Position )

• Knowledge of various planning softwares like MS project, Primavera.

• Need to have knowledge of “work assessment” of resource planning for construction activities.

• Preferable experience in construction of power plant boilers, heaters and piping.

• Will be responsible to professionalise planning and scheduling including reviews, reporting, systems.

• He will need to draw up catch up plans along with identifying necessary resources and their allocation.

• For establishing construction technology group.

• Professionalise planning & scheduling

• Establishing construction technology group

7. External interface and its purpose: None

8. Internal interface and its purpose:

• Execution – working together with the execution group & meeting their demands for planning & scheduling

• B&H & Corporate Office – Giving data required timely

9. Critical Competencies for the job:

Functional:

• Knowledge of various planning sofwares like MS project & Primavers

• Good presentation & analytical skills

• Effective communication skills

• Clear & strong orientation towards results, targets and deadlines

• Knowledge of power plant boilers, heaters & piping

Education : Mechanical Engineering

Experience : 15 - 18 yrs

Minimum 3 yrs in project planning
