Full Description:

Windows HP-UX and AIX based servers in a high availability, 24x7x365 environment. Provide technical support for midrange servers and SAN storage systems. Perform 2nd level troubleshooting by analyzing and resolving moderately complex system problems. Approve and execute Change Control requests for hardware, OS and applications. Monitor alerting systems and servers at production and certification levels. Administer work request system (create logins, reset passwords, etc.). Provide and receive cross training from immediate support team. Install, maintain and repair components required to ensure system integrity. Maintain data, software and hardware security and emergency procedures. Maintain contact with end users to maximize network/systems utilization. Set up user accounts on company’s servers and run necessary system backups. Perform disaster recovery tasks.
