Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors.
Major Duties:
Reviews requirements document for testability. Recommends document changes that would improve testability.
Analyzes assignments and determines product verification and validation approach that must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
Develop and maintain test plan through the application of approved testing methodologies. Executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.
Compiles and furnishes necessary information to document the product verification and validation solution.
Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products.
Maintains test capabilities, including hardware and software tools.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
Skill in using Matlab/Simulink including Matlab scripting - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Understanding of embedded software modeling, engineering principles and lifecycles as they relate to the company product - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
