• Create a safe work environment & ensure compliance of HSE initiatives.
• Support the CSE initiatives & improve internal/ external Quality Metrics.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles & practices.
• Work closely with support functions like Quality, Product Engineering, Materials, Sourcing, SCM, Maintenance & HR to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing cell.
• Adopt Six Sigma & continuously improve all areas of the manufacturing cell.
• Support initiatives around TS-16949, ISO14000 or other required quality certifications .
• Understand & apply the 10 Cummins COS principles.
• Develop people & orient them through TBWS. Review & monitor changes to machines/ equipment\'s for SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, Environment).
• Facilitate new product introductions.
